Warnings, mutes and suspensions

Depending on severity and history, moderation can issue a warning, a temporary mute (you can read but not post or comment), a cooldown, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Temporary restrictions end on their own when their time is up — you do not need to do anything to be restored.
Abusing the report system — flooding it with false reports — can itself lead to a restriction on filing reports.
