Change your username

Settings, Account, Username. You can rename yourself once every 30 days. Two things to know before you do: 1. Links to your old handle stop working. There is no automatic redirect from @oldname to @newname, so anything pointing at your old address — shared links, mentions in old comments — will no longer find you. 2. Your old handle is held for you, not released. Nobody else can take it, and you can take it back yourself (renaming back does not have to wait 30 days for someone else to free it — it is reserved to you).
