Hytale Magazine is an independent fan publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Hypixel Studios Canada Inc., Hypixel Studios Canada 2025 inc., or any of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, or successors (together, "Hypixel Studios").

No one at Hypixel Studios has reviewed, approved, or authorized any content published on this website or in the Hytale Magazine mobile application. The opinions expressed by our editorial team and by users are their own and do not represent the views of Hypixel Studios.

"Hytale" and all related names, logos, character names, and visual assets are trademarks or registered trademarks of Hypixel Studios. All rights belong to their respective owners.

We use the name "Hytale" in our project title and domain for one purpose: to identify the game that our magazine covers. This is nominative use, the same way a car magazine uses the name "Porsche" when writing about a Porsche. We do not claim any ownership of, or rights to, the Hytale trademark or any Hypixel Studios intellectual property.

Publish editorial articles, news coverage, guides, and commentary about Hytale.

Provide a community feed where fans can share their own posts, fan art, and screenshots.

We do not distribute the Hytale game, its launcher, game files, source code, or any extracted assets.

We do not sell any products or services, whether related to Hytale or otherwise.

We do not act as a representative, agent, or authorized channel for Hypixel Studios.

Hytale Magazine publishes screenshots, gameplay images, and other materials from or related to Hytale for the purpose of news reporting, commentary, criticism, and community discussion. This use is made in good faith, on a non-commercial basis, for informational and editorial purposes.

Under EU copyright law, such use may be covered by the exception for reproduction in connection with the reporting of current events (Directive 2001/29/EC, Art. 5(3)(c)) and by the exception for quotation for purposes of criticism or review (Art. 5(3)(d)). Both exceptions are optional under the Directive; their scope and conditions are determined by the national law of the operator's country of establishment and should be reviewed once that country is chosen.

Under US copyright law, we believe our use qualifies as fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107, considering: (1) the purpose is non-commercial commentary and criticism, which favors fair use; (2) the nature of the materials is creative, which does not favor fair use; (3) we use limited portions relative to the whole work, which favors fair use; and (4) our use does not substitute for the original or harm its market, which favors fair use. Three of the four factors support our position, but fair use is a case-by-case determination and not a guarantee.

These exceptions have limits. We do not reproduce entire creative works (such as full concept art galleries or complete trailers) without clear editorial justification. We attribute all official materials to Hypixel Studios.

If Hypixel Studios or its representatives have any concerns about our use of their intellectual property, please contact us at legal@hytalemagazine.com. We take such concerns seriously and will respond promptly. If you ask us to remove specific materials, we will do so.
