How work gets into the magazine

There is no submission form. Every issue is edited out of what people post on Discovery — so posting is submitting. This page is the part that actually matters: what tends to get picked, and how to shoot and write it.

Post it on Discovery
Pick the right type — Build, Screenshot, Art, Guide, Mod and a dozen more. That is how editors find it, and it is the only step you have to take.

Editors read what is there
Everything public is in scope. Verified accounts get read first, only because we already know the work is theirs.

We tell you before it runs
You will get a message with the pages it is going on. You do not have to do anything — it is a heads-up, not a form to fill in. If you would rather it did not run, say so and it will not.

Your name runs with it
Every credit links back to your page. Nothing appears in an issue anonymously, ever.

You keep every right to your work

It stays yours. Post the same thing on Reddit, YouTube, anywhere — nothing here is exclusive.

We can publish what you post publicly

On the site, in the app, in an issue of the magazine, and in posts announcing that issue. That is what the site is for — it is how a community magazine gets made.

Always with your name and a link to your page

Credit is not optional on our side. If we ever get it wrong, tell us and we will fix it in the next issue.

We do not sell it or hand it to anyone else

No selling your work, no passing it to third parties, no using it to advertise something that is not this magazine.

You can pull out any time

Delete the post, or just ask, and it will not be used again. An issue that is already published stays as it is — we cannot unprint a PDF — but we will take your name off it if you want.

Past contributors get a heads-up when the next issue opens, and their work is read first.

Post it once and it is in the running for every issue after this one. Nothing expires, and nothing has to be sent twice.
